Ed Jacobs is a Founder and the CFO of National Event Connection (NEC), where his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership drive the company's success. Hailing from Long Island, Eddie’s journey is a testament to his dedication, passion, and innovative vision in the event industry. After earning an associate degree from Suffolk Community College, Eddie has relentlessly pursued further education, attending seminars and courses in areas like lighting design and business management. This commitment to learning keeps him at the industry's cutting edge.

Eddie’s event career took off at age twelve when he purchased his first turntables and started DJing. What began as a youthful passion evolved into a successful business, eventually leading him from DJing to establishing NEC as a leading full-service event production company. Under his guidance, NEC has grown to offer a wide array of services, including lighting, staging, visual effects, games, décor, and a custom printing division specializing in activations and branding.

As NEC’s CFO, Eddie oversees the company’s financial operations and HR. His strategic vision has played a pivotal role in NEC's involvement in high-profile events, from political gatherings and fundraising efforts for St. Jude and the Red Cross to product launches for major brands like Vitamin Water and JetBlue.

Outside of work, Eddie is a devoted family man, married for 29 years with three children and six grandchildren. His personal interests include golf, chess, poker, real estate, and traveling the globe. Eddie Jacobs exemplifies the blend of professional success and personal fulfillment, steering NEC forward with his innovative approach and unwavering leadership.
